Privacy Policy

• Your account: email address, password (stored scrambled, so nobody can read it) and the name you give us.
• Your profile: username, home area, riding since and about you, if you fill them in.
• Your garage: bikes, photos, odometer and hour readings, rego and WOF dates, maintenance tasks, service history and specs.
• Your rides and routes: GPS tracks, times, distances and speeds from rides you record or import (you can turn speeds off in Settings → Privacy), and the routes you save.
• Planned rides: the details, who's invited and everyone's answers.
• Notifications, and the phones or computers you've turned on notifications for.

A ride being recorded is saved on your phone as you go, so it isn't lost if the app closes. Your appearance, map and navigation choices are saved on each device too. We use cookies only to keep you logged in and remember those choices, not to track you.

Only you, unless you share it. People on a planned ride with you see your name, username, your answer and the ride's route. Rides, routes and bikes each have a Visible To setting, ready for when friends and public profiles are added; we'll never show more than you've chosen.

We use a few trusted services to run the app. They handle data only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase stores your account and data (in Sydney, Australia).
• Vercel runs the app's website.
• Resend sends our emails (confirm your email, reset your password).
• OpenStreetMap supplies the maps; your phone loads map pictures straight from it. Place searches (Photon, by komoot) and road directions (the free OpenStreetMap routing server run by FOSSGIS) get the place or map points you search for or route, from our server, without your name or email.
• Your phone's maker (Apple, Google or your browser) delivers notifications if you turn them on.

• See and change your details any time in the app, and delete bikes, photos, rides and routes.
• Turn notifications on or off in Settings → Notifications.
• Delete your account and everything in it (photos included) any time in Settings → Profile → Delete Account. It's permanent: nothing is kept afterwards.
